15% de descompte Reus 2023

Els propers dies 7 i 8 d'Octubre es celebren les XXX Jornades de Rol i Estratègia que organitza l'Associació de Jugadors i Jugadores de Rol de Reus i, naturalment, Minairons Miniatures hi donarà el seu suport en tant que patrocinador, com ja va essent habitual.

Malauradament, enguany no podré muntar-hi cap paradeta degut a problemes logístics. Per tal de mitigar aquesta mancança, ofereixo a tots els assistents la possibilitat d'adquirir productes de Minairons directament al nostre web, gaudint l'habitual descompte del 15% i sense despeses de tramesa - en el benentès que la comanda serà recollida a l'estatge de La Palma, el diumenge 8 d'Octubre - que és quan hi podré assistir.

El procediment a seguir és el mateix que l'any passat:

1) Quan hàgiu finalitzat la compra i vulgueu fer-ne el checkout, introduïu el codi promocional "REUS2023" a la casella inferior dreta de la pantalla i premeu el botó "afegir" (fletxa vermella a la imatge següent):

Veureu que immediatament després hom us hi aplicarà el 15% de descompte de forma automàtica (veure a la imatge següent l'abans i el després).

Més endavant del procés de checkout, no escolliu tramesa per "Correos" sinó per "Minairons HQ" (cercle vermell a la imatge següent), i això us eliminarà automàticament les despeses de tramesa.

Aquest descompte és només vàlid fins el 6 d'Octubre a mitjanit.

Com ja vaig comentar uns dies enrere, enguany no podré muntar a les XXIX Jornades de Reus una paradeta de dimensions adequades sinó una de molt petita, degut a les activitats que hi duré a terme durant tot el cap de setmana.

Per a mitigar aquesta mancança, ofereixo a tots els assistents la possibilitat d'adquirir productes de Minairons directament al nostre web, gaudint l'habitual descompte del 15% i sense despeses de tramesa - en el benentès que la comanda serà recollida a l'estatge de La Palma, en el decurs de les jornades.

Never Going Home RPG
Joc de rol de terror i acció ambientat en la 1ª Guerra Mundial, publicat en anglès per Wet Ink Games, i traduït al castellà per Cursed Ink.
Data i hora: dissabte 16 h. 10 h.
Durada prevista: 3 - 4 hores
Nombre de jugadors: màxim 5
Requisits: jugadors/es majors d'edat (pot haver-hi escenes de gran cruesa, violència explícita i llenguatge rude)
Llengua: el DJ utilitzarà el català; els materials de suport són en català

Galleys & Galleons
Joc de guerra naval amb miniatures, de la prolífica companyia italo-ucraïnesa Ganesha Games.
Tema de les partides: diferents demostracions ràpides de combat entre vaixells de vela, galeres mediterrànies i més.
Data i hora: dissabte 10 h. 16 h.
Durada prevista: 1 - 2 hores per partida
Nombre de jugadors: 2 per partida
Requisits: preferible que estiguin acostumats al joc amb miniatures
Llengua: indiferent, però els materials de suport són en català

Bag the Hun
Joc de guerra aèria amb miniatures, publicat en anglès per la cèlebre companyia britànica Too Fat Lardies, autora de jocs tan coneguts com Chain of Command.
Tema de les partides: dues partides consecutives, ambientades a la Guerra Civil Espanyola; primer una escaramussa introductòria entre biplans, i després una gran batalla entre Messerschmitts i Mosques.
Data i hora: diumenge 10 h.
Durada prevista: 3 - 4 hores
Nombre de jugadors: 2 o 4
Requisits: preferible que estiguin acostumats al joc amb miniatures
Llengua: indiferent, però els materials de suport són en català

A Minairons miniatures nos complace confirmar asistencia y participación a las próximas XXIX Jornadas de rol y estrategia que organizará la Asociación de Jugadores y Jugadoras de Rol de Reus (AJJRR) en las instalaciones municipales de La Palma, los próximos días 1 y 2 de octubre.

Como novedad, este año aportaremos diversos juegos de participación y/o demostración, tanto de wargame con miniaturas como de rol (uno distinto para cada sesión: sábado mañana, sábado tarde y domingo mañana). Estamos pendientes de la organización per saber qué horarios se nos asignan, y entonces los daremos a conocer públicamente.

Ahora bien, estas activitades públicas nos requerirán un nivel de atención incompatible con atender un puesto de venta de las dimensiones de años precedentes, así que éste será mucho más reducido que otras veces. Sin embargo, estamos preparando una alternativa del estilo "collect & pick up", que os permitirá hacer pedido online en nuestra web (con los descuentos habituales y libre de gastos de correo, com si compráseis allí mismo), y pasar a recogerlo en mano durante las Jornadas.

Reus 2022 (*)

We at Minairons miniatures are pleased to confirm our attendance to the upcoming XXIX RPG and Strategy Days to be organized by Reus' Association of Role Playing Gamers at the municipal facilities of La Palma, on the next 1 and 2 October.

As a novelty, this year we will be present on both days; and we're going to run some participation and/or demo games, both miniature wargaming and roleplaying related (a different one each session: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning). We are awaiting timelines and schedules from the organizers, and then we will let you know these.

However, such public activities will require a level of attention likely incompatible with attending to a sales point the magnitude of previous years; so this will be smaller than other times. Do not worry, however, because we are preparing an alternative consisting of kind of a "collect & pick up" option, that should allow you to order whatever desired (enjoying the usual in-convention discount and postage costs free - as if you were actually buying there), and collect it by hand during the convention.

Reus 2022

A Minairons miniatures ens complau confirmar la nostra assistència i participació a les properes XXIX Jornades de rol i estratègia que organitzarà l'Associació de Jugadors i Jugadores de Rol de Reus a l'equipament municipal de La Palma, els propers dies 1 i 2 d'Octubre.

Com a novetat, enguany hi serem presents ambdós dies; i hi aportarem diversos jocs de participació i/o demostració, tant de wargame amb miniatures com de rol (un de diferent per cada sessió: dissabte matí, dissabte tarda i diumenge matí). Estem pendents dels organitzadors per saber quins horaris ens seran assignats, i aleshores us ho comunicarem públicament.

Nogensmenys, aquestes activitats ens requeriran un nivell d'atenció incompatible amb atendre una parada de venda de la magnitud d'anys precedents; aquesta serà, per tant, molt més reduïda que altres cops. No us amoïneu, però, perquè estem preparant una alternativa consistent en una mena de "collect & pick up", que us permetrà comandar allò que vulgueu al nostre web (gaudint del descompte habitual i sense despeses de correu, com si compréssiu allà mateix), i passar-ho a recollir en mà durant les Jornades.

1st "Ai Carmela!" SCW tournament

Last month, the town of Les Borges Blanques in western Catalonia hosted the 4^th edition of its promising Modelism and Wargames Fair. We at Minairons Miniatures not only attended to it, but eagerly co-operated with FOWTarna club to organize a wargaming event therein, that was christened as 1st "Ai Carmela!" SCW tournament. The picture below shows the participants chatting with the Mayor of Les Borges Blanques and a representative of the Government of Catalonia (=Generalitat), who took an interest in being explained the core concept of wargaming.

Despite its name suggesting a competition, the event itself wasn't conceived as a true tournament with a competitive setup or a final ranking. Instead, we preferred to use it as an introductory to Spanish Civil War wargaming, with the aim to attract potential gamers to this particular setting. So tournament was organized around two different kinds of scenario, with a separate army list for each contender as normal, but also a common reserve pool including air support, long range artillery or armoured reserves that had to be dealt and shared among player belonging to the same side.

To some extent, this 1^st "Ai Carmela!" tournament had much of an experiment. We weren't prone to waste the time of our gamers to learn an entirely new ruleset, but to allow them to happily throw themselves into gaming with little previous explanations. Due to such practical reasons, we chose for this edition to be run using Spain in Flames supplement of Flames of War, a ruleset widely known among Catalan and Spanish gamers. We don't discard to use a different ruleset in further editions but there will be no changes to the gaming scale chosen, though. It will keep being 1/72 (=20mm). Quite logical, isn't it?

Tournament incorporated some funny optional and home brewed rules, such as one regarding the use of paramedics, or the rather unpredictable behaviour of some of the FoW objectives on table. Besides, we tried to enhance the event look using abundant scenery items, and complemented the ensemble with an exhibition table plentiful of painted stuff --from either Minairons and other makes.

We'd like to thank the kindness and proactivity of Les Borges Blanques IV Modelism and Wargames Fair team, as well as FOWTarna crew for their commitment to this experimental tournament success. Next year we'll be there again, for sure!

Welcoming new traders

We would like to welcome a handful of shops having decided recently to carry Minairons Miniatures stuff. Such is the case of Tas Modelshop in Netherlands, for instance. They have just got into touch with us for this reason.

Modelists and wargamers in the capital city of Aragon region, Saragossa, would perhaps know that Kits shop in their town is already selling our 1/72 models and figures, and do also have some of our 1/100 stuff with the purpose of allowing curious customers to inspect it. Kits shop have no website yet, but they're located in downtown (calle Mayor, 45).

And last, the renowned Kaburi shops net in Barcelona city (Catalonia) are also carrying for test some of our products since last Christmas. Hopeful that their experience becomes satisfactory enough for permanently retailing Minairons Miniatures from now on!

Meet you at Alpha-ARES 2013!

We're glad to confirm attendance to the upcoming Barcelona games convention yearly organized by the local club Alpha-ARES under its own name. Such event has become a milestone in Catalonian wargaming.

Please note that Apha-ARES show has changed location this year. It's no longer going to take place at Cotxeres de Sants Civic Centre, but at Casinet d'Hostafrancs --pretty close to the former.

New traders, and schedule changes

We are happy to acknowledge our American followers that Internet Hobbies stores do now carry Minairons Miniatures products in their huge catalogue. Also, that Jordi Rubio renowned hobby shop in Barcelona has just started trading our 1/72nd scale models, both plastic and resin ones.

On the other side, we've had to re-adjust our next releases expected schedule, due to a previously unexpectable issue related to the decals sheets that were to complement the affected sets. In the end, we've been compelled to delay releasing of some models. In exchange, we expect to be able to push forward in the pipeline a couple of models that had been left for the first months of 2014. Please take a glance at our updated pipeline by clicking here.

Glad to assure you that our forthcoming first SCW infantry set hasn't been affected by such schedule changes, as you can appreciate below. Greens will be brought to casting on next week.

Closed for holiday

Today September 11^th is the National Day of Catalonia, so we're going to keep no working activity in this day; but to calmly enjoy it instead, for it's more than likely to become a truly historic one.

We beg your understanding for this activity gap. Tomorrow we'll be back, plentiful of energy again!

Meet you in Barcelona!

Minairons Miniatures is glad to confirm attendance to the upcoming Barcelona games convention yearly organized by the local club Alpha-ARES under its own name. Such event has become with time not just one of the milestones in every Spanish aficionado's calendar, but the most significant wargaming show in Catalonia too.

This is why, as a Catalan company, we at Minairons Miniatures had long dreamt of this convention as our formal birth date, beyond any cold reasonings about opportunity and so –and finally such will be the case indeed!

This year, the "Alpha-ARES 2012 : Jornades d'estratègia, simulació i miniatures" convention will be held on 10^th – 11^th November, at the Cotxeres de Sants civic centre & conventions hall as usual. As told, we are glad to publicly confirm our attendance there –with a pretty small stand, such as admittedly corresponding to a newly born firm... There you'll be able not only to meet us and chat about future plans, but also to purchase our very first 1/72^nd scale Panzer I Ausf. A boxes, as well as to have a taste on our upcoming first 15mm AFVs –or even to acquire them too, good Hermes willing!
