Built Rosa Luxemburg Battalion

A user has kindly granted me permission to show some captions on the Rosa Luxemburg Battalion he's recently built and painted, to reinforce his 20mm SCW Republican Army. It comprises a Minairons 20GEF011 Militiawomen set, completed with a couple of poses of plastic figures by B.U.M. to fill up ranks. Group is supported by two 20GEV003 Bilbao armoured cars and one 20GEV024 Ford ambulance, also by Minairons. Enjoy the pictures!

1:72 Bilbao Armoured Car released and shipping!

Happy to acknowledge you that our remastered 1:72 Bilbao Armoured Car is finally ready for shipping --just as scheduled, wow!

Our 1:72 Bilbao model kit consists of just 10 parts, all of them high quality resin --except for MG and fore wheels, that are made of hard plastic. This new Minairons Miniatures model is available in a 2-models box, also including a textured paper sheet with flags of three Spanish Republican institutions.

Re-mastered 1/72 Bilbao preview

This is what our next-to-come 1:72^nd scale Bilbao Armoured Car will look like, once entirely re-mastered from the basis of re-scaling our CAD prototype --initially produced at 1:100^th.

As you can see, hard plastic fore wheels and machine gun have been re-scaled too. And they do fit perfectly!

You can see next our armoured car accompanied by two 20mm figures --a Republican officer from Bandera/HPC and a standard-bearer from Irregular. Apologies for their battle weary look --chipping, unfinished flag and so--, I should have repaired them before pictures!

Minairons' 1/72 Bilbao will be released on August 15^th as a boxed set. It will include 2 resin armoured cars, one hard plastic sprue with 4 fore wheels and 2 MGs, and one paper sheet containing 3 textured flags.
