Stocks updated for 1:100 scale

Just as already done with other scales, I've managed to inventory what number of each 1:100^th scale model I still have in stock --with a few pleasant surprises, that can be checked on the corresponding page of this very same blog.

Also, I've taken advantage of such update for setting on sale the production prototypes of two SCW models that already existed in 1:72^nd scale, but not in 1:100^th scale yet: the armoured carrier and unarmoured tractor versions of IGC Sadurní tank. Both are sold as they were cast --i.e. with no driver included. Don't miss the chance, because both models are truly unique!

Now I'm going to figure out how to keep available to public our free download PDFs.

Stocks updated for 1:600 scale

Next will be the turn of our 1:100^th scale ranges.

Stocks updated for 1:144 scale

After 1:72^nd scale, it was now time for me to update remaining stocks of 1:144^th scale stuff --basically aircraft and WSS flags. Once again, there happens to be some more items than accounted for --mainly due to already mentioned latest hour order cancellations. In accordance to previous announcements on this matter, such updated stocks have been listed on the 1:144^th scale page of this very same blog, that will be properly updated at every eventual change.

Next will be the turn of our 1:600^th scale ranges, all related to Age of Sail.

Stocks updated for 1:72 scale

After Minairons' website closure, I've spent the week performing a thorough inventory of what 1:72^nd scale stuff was still left on shelves. Not too surprisingly, I've found out to have some more items than accounted for --mainly due to latest hour order cancellations. In accordance to what I already announced before, all these stocks have been listed on the 1:72^nd scale page of this very same blog, that will be properly updated at every eventual change.

In the next few weeks, I'm going to perform similar inventories on all our other ranges. Stay tuned!

North western Italy Naval flags

Minairons' ever growing collection of 1:600^th scale Age of Sail ensigns has added three new titles to their list, that you can see in the photo above - this time covering the Republic of Genoa from mid 13^th to late 18^th centuries, as well as the Duchy of Savoy during 18^th century and its heir, the kingdom of Sardinia in Napoleonic times.

They're all already available at Minairons' website, as usual.

More sets of Naval Flags

This week I've just released another batch of 18^th and 19^th centuries naval flags - this time, both the US and CS late war ensigns, as well as a curious pirate flag which, unlike most others, is not black or red, but white instead - this apparently odd choice probably due to this particular pirate being French while, as some maybe already know, French Navy ensigns of that time being plain white.

They're all already available at Minairons' website - I cannot guarantee for how long is it going to remain open though, before I proceed to temporarily close it again, due to ongoing family health issues.

New sets of Naval Flags

I'm happy to announce the release of a new batch of 18^th and 19^th centuries naval flags - today, those of the Russian Vanguard Fleet between 1700 and 1865, as well as a couple of sets related to the American Civil War, depicting the early war flags of both sides, from 1861 to 1863.

They're all already available at Minairons' website - which BTW is to remain open for one or two weeks, before having to shut it down again due to ongoing family health issues.

WSS Rubí's Infantry Regiment flags

I'm pleased to share a further addition to our War of Spanish Succession flag ranges at 1:100, 1:72 and 1:56 scales altogether. These new sets display the flags of the Maruis of Rubí Infantry Regiment, raised in 1713 by himself as Charles Habsburg's viceroy of Majorca, with the purpose to help defend the island face a foreseeable Two Crowns' invasion of the island - which actually happened in 1715. Along with the flags, I've also released a small PDF guide on the subject for free download, as usual.

New Age of Sail naval flags

Here you have three fresh additions to our range of age of Sail naval flags, consisting from left to right of: the Dutch East India Company flags from 1630 to 1794 - showing a red upper stripe instead of orange as initially, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth war flags between 1568 and 1643 (when their fleet was destroyed by a Danish surprise attack, and never rebuit) and, last but not least, the Sultanate of Morocco war flags from 1666 until 1912 (when the French occupation put the Moroccan navy to an end).

Funnily enough, the white symbol centered in the Moroccan ensign was systematically misinterpreted by European travelers and port authorities, who always interpreted it to be... a taylor's pair of scissors! It wasn't until 1781 that a clever piedmontese official noted the flag represented two crossed white sabres on a red background. The man also failed to correctly interpret it as the famous zulfiqar two-bladed sword of Ali, but he at least got closer!

WSS Valois' Tercio flags

I'm pleased to share a further addition to our War of Spanish Succession flag ranges at 1:100, 1:72 and 1:56 scales altogether. These new sets display the flags of the Valois' Tercio, another Two Crowns' Spanish unit. Along with the flags, I've also released a small PDF guide on the subject for free download, as usual.

XIV International Brigade flags

I'm happy to share the latest addition to our ranges of Spanish Civil War flags in 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales altogether - the flags of several units belonging to the XIV International Brigade, otherwise known as "La Marseillaise" Brigade due to most of their members being French language native speakers.

Worth to mention that I've recently published too a further 1:56^th scale set - this one devoted to Anarchist units. Taking advantage of such circumstance, I've also redesigned the 1:100^th and 1:72^nd scales versions of such set, so as to make all them to share design.

WSS Queen's Own IR flags

I'm happy to share our latest product in the War of Spanish Succession flags ranges, in all scales. This consists of a paper sheet with the King's and Regiment's Colours belonging to the La Reina ("=Queen's Own") Infantry Regiment of Charles Habsburg's Army - released simultaneously in 1:100, 1:72 and 1:56 scales. Also a fourth 1:144 scale sheet contains the Colours of three different Austrophile regiments (Catalan Guards, Ahumada and Queen's Own itself).

Alongside with the flag sheets above, a brief PDF painting guide on the subject has been released too - as customary. Hope you like it all!

English and British Naval flags

One last release before Christmas: three new 1:600 scale Age of Sail flag sets devoted to English and British ships along three different periods of History - with one set devoted to English traders prior to the Union Act with Scotland (1707), a second one devoted to the British East India Company between 1707 and 1801 and, lastly, a third one showing the Red Ensign from 1801 onwards.

BTW, this latter ensign was shared by merchant ships and Royal Navy's Red Squadron until 1864, when it was decreed its exclusive use by civil vessels - thus becoming the White Ensign a Royal Navy's exclusive and only flag. Such is the arrangement still in force as per today.

WSS Seville Inf. Reg. flags

I'm pleased to share a new addition to our War of Spanish Succession ranges at 1:100, 1:72 and 1:56 scales altogether. This consists of the flags of a further Two Crowns' Spanish unit: Seville I.R., prior to 1707 known as Tercio de Madrid or Colorados Viejos.

Along with the flags, I've also released a small PDF guide on the subject for free download, as usual.

1/600 Japanese Atakebune

I'm pleased to share our latest 1:600 scale Age of Sail ship model release. Now it's been the turn for a Japanese warship from the Sengoku Jidai and early Edo periods - the fearsome Atakebune (安宅船). Conceived as floating fortresses, atakebunes were primarily used as formidable boarding platforms, with little ordnance on board - generally four cannons, or six at most.

As for the model itself, it consists of a high quality cast resin hull completed by a set of seven 3D-printed alternative parts - oars sets, a couple of masts with unfurled sails, a laid down mast and two alternative on-deck housings. The kit is complemented by a flag sheet comprising a number of Tokugawa shogunate flags - that can also be purchased separately.

New 1800s Naval Flags

I'm happy to share a few just released 19^th century naval flags sets in 1:600^th scale, those of today devoted to the 1821-1822 Greek Revolution and the Ottoman Navy of that period.

A third set, devoted to 17^th and 18^th centuries Ottoman traders, was scheduled for release now too - but its printing has experienced a little delay, so I don't have this available right now yet. However, it can already be pre-ordered from our website anyway.

SCW Republican Cavalry standards

We've just retaken our SCW flags ranges, which were admittedly neglected for a while now, with the addition of a new set in 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales altogether - this time devoted to some Republican Cavalry squadrons, as you can see by the picture above. More of these are coming in the next months!

WSS Castelar Inf. Reg. flags

I've just made available another set of War of Spanish Succession flags, in 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales altogether as usual. Their subject is another jacobite Irish unit in Bourbon Spanish service - the Castelar Infantry Regiment, better known surely by its later name of Hibernia (this meaning "Ireland" in Latin).

Barcelona's St. Eulalia Standard

We are proud to share our latest product in the War of Spanish Succession flags ranges, in all scales. This is the Saint Eulalia's flag of Barcelona town - its most outstanding symbol since 16^th century at least, until its final demise in September 11^th 1714. There were two variant of this emblem: the "flag" itself, large and square shaped, flown mainly in ceremonial events or outstanding days; and the "pennant" or battleflag, out of a lighter fabric. Its WSS version was rectangular in shape, but older versions seem to have been triangular and showing not St. Eulalia herself, but her allegoric yellow saltire instead.

Besides of the 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th versions of this flag, we have also released a 1:144^th scale sheet containing not just this latter, but the flags of two Catalan regiments as well.

Ancien Régime to Empire: French ensigns

I'm pleased to share a new bunch of naval flags in 1:600^th scale - this time, devoted to France and their evolution from Louis XIV period to the 1^st Empire.

The new sheets comprise ensigns for 17^th-18^th centuries merchant ships, for an early Revolutionary man-of-war and lastly the flag set of French Navy between 1794 and 1815.
