Good news for 20mm SCW gamers, for our former range of white metal figures are now being gradually re-released by their sculptor --so that they now begin to show in the sculptor's own website, Xan miniatures.
As said, this is going to be a gradual process and not all troops in the range are available right now, because Xan is checking and revamping them one by one. As he told me recently, it's also likely for some new figures to be added to the range.
Just as already done with other scales, I've managed to inventory what number of each 1:100th scale model I still have in stock --with a few pleasant surprises, that can be checked on the corresponding page of this very same blog.
Also, I've taken advantage of such update for setting on sale the production prototypes of two SCW models that already existed in 1:72nd scale, but not in 1:100th scale yet: the armoured carrier and unarmoured tractor versions of IGC Sadurní tank. Both are sold as they were cast --i.e. with no driver included. Don't miss the chance, because both models are truly unique!

After Minairons' website closure, I've spent the week performing a thorough inventory of what 1:72nd scale stuff was still left on shelves. Not too surprisingly, I've found out to have some more items than accounted for --mainly due to latest hour order cancellations. In accordance to what I already announced before, all these stocks have been listed on the 1:72nd scale page of this very same blog, that will be properly updated at every eventual change.

As some of you perhaps already know, I have recently retired from active work. Under such circumstances, I've thought it wiser to gradually cease retailing some third party products - with the aim to keep selling only Minairons' own stuff in the long run.

Minairons' 20mm Legionaries are already here! We're just expecting the box art to be completed. The job is in hands of Mar H. Pongiluppi, who has been behind our figure sets box art all these years. Despite quite busier now than before, because she's become director of an Art School, she gladly volunteered to design our Foreign Legion graphic art. I beg you a little patience until this final step is completed!

We've just put under pre-order status our next upcoming SCW 20mm miniatures set --the Spanish Foreign Legion, whose greens are already in foundry while their box art is being created. Unless something really bad happens before, we expect to have them ready and available by the end of June --or maybe early July.
This new boxed set will contain a total of 15 white metal figures: nine riflemen, two LMG crews sporting MG-13 Dreyse machine guns, and two NCOs armed with SMG.
Pre-order your legionaries set while the figure moulds are worked out! They can already be found at our website.
A few months ago I shared with you our first steps on a projected new 20mm figure set for Spanish Civil War - the Spanish Foreign Legion, a first batch of which was already shown in this installment. Their sculpting is complete now with a second batch making up for a full 15-figure set in total. Here you have a preview on these new greens:
While the first batch consisted entirely of fusiliers and a couple of NCOs, this second batch comprises two MG-13 Dreyse LMGs along with their crews and a few fusiliers else, a couple of which are prone.
Worth to be pointed out that, after some thought, in the end we decided to spare the tripod mounted MMG and gunner for a later set; thus replacing these with another kneeling figure firing a bipod mounted LMG instead - as you can see below.
This new 15-figure set is scheduled for release at some point between mid April and early May. However, I'm pondering whether to put them on sale before, in a pre-order regime with a bonus discount reward for early supporters - so helping me finance skyrocketing production costs. If so, would you support such pre-sale?
Minairons miniatures' Spanish Civil War 20mm figure range has been finally resumed!
The first set we're approaching consists of 15 Foreign Legion figures in box; a first half of which are in an advanced sculpting stage already, as it can be seen by the picture above. This first handful of figures depicts two NCOs sporting SMGs and five riflemen in various fighting poses.
For this range to relaunch it has been required to find a capable and willing sculptor - the same one who already created our WSS range - replacing our previous sculptor, Xan Bautista. Due to this, some minor style differences can be expected, although we're committed to keep the highest internal consistence possible.
As a proof of this, here below you can see the upcoming sculpts compared to a couple of already existing Moroccan Regulars:

I'm delighted to share with you a new release of War of the Spanish Succession 1/72nd scale white metal figures, now devoted to Bourbon Spanish Infantry of the Line. It consists of three main sets: musketeers, command group and grenadiers.
Each set comprises four different figures, as it can be seen in pictures.
Besides, flag bearers can be purchased separately - for those willing to assign more than just one flag bearer to their battalions.
Worth to be noted that, unlike what you can see in the pictures above, the flag bearer actually carries just the flag pole – paper flags can also be purchased separately.
Our range of WSS figures is fully compatible with the plastic ones from Zvezda. They are already available on our website.

Our range of War of the Spanish Succession 1/72nd scale figures keeps growing at a steady pace - perhaps a bit slower than some would like, but this is the one I can afford! This month's release consists of a set of 4 Spanish Austrophile, or Austro-catalan, Infantry grenadiers in all different marching poses.

Figures of this new range are specifically designed for being compatible with Zvezda's GNW plastic miniatures, so they should be considered as 'pure' 1/72 or 25mm, rather than 20mm as our SCW range is.
These are the greens of our upcoming War of Spanish Succession 1:72nd scale figure set. As you can see, it is going to consist of four grenadier figures in marching poses. This below is what they look like alongside to a musketeer figure.
New set is due to be released right this Spring - or even late Winter, depending on latest hour schedule adjustments.
We've already made available a further set of 20mm SCW figures. What we've released now is a 81mm Valero mortar along with its Moroccan Regulares team - which, as you can see by the pictures below, consists of three different crewmen superbly sculpted by Leonid Primachenko.

I'm delighted to share with you a further release of War of the Spanish Succession 1/72nd scale figures, this time consisting of three different complementary sets: musketeers, command set and an optional, supplementary flag bearer. They're intended to stand for Austrophile spanish, or Austro-catalan, Infantry of the Line composing the bulk of Archduke Charles Habsburg's peninsular army.
Musketeers set comprises four different figures in advancing pose with fixed bayonets. On the other hand, command set includes an officer with spontoon, an NCO with halberd, a drummer and a flag bearer.
Worth to be remarked that spontoon, halberd, drum and flag pole are separate parts - therefore, a little assembly work is required.
And last, we've forecast a third set consisting of a supplementary flag bearer - for those using more than one of these in their battalions.
All them have been sculpted by Leonid Primachenko, as usual with this range.
I'm pleased to share the next couple of War of Spanish Succession 1/72 scale figure sets we've scheduled, now devoted to Charles Habsburg's infantry of the line.
As you can see in pictures, this upcoming release is to consist of two 4-figure sets --the one of musketeers, while the other one comprises officer, drummer, flag bearer and NCO.
We expect to release them before Summer, to be shortly afterwards followed by similar Two Crowns Spanish sets.
I'm proud you to show you the latest addition to our 20mm Spanish Civil War figures range - this time, a team of Moroccan artillerymen consisting of three crewmen and a leading officer. New set retails at the same price as existing ones - that is, €4.09 (+VAT where applying).
These artillerymen can be used for manning an AT or infantry gun, as in the sample picture below.
