New 1/72 Moroccan Regulars

I'm happy to acknowledge you to have already available a new set of 20mm Spanish Civil War figures: the much feared Tropas Regulares Indígenas de Marruecos (="Moroccan Native Regular Troops"), better known in short as Regulares. Please take a look at the pictures below.

As usual, this new set has been beautifully sculpted by Xan and consists of 15 figures, all different --thirteen askari riflemen and two NCOs, one of which holding a naranjero SMG.

Also customarily, this our new Moroccan Regulars box is priced €15.95, and it will be followed shortly by a second set comprising officers, flag bearer and close support weapons.

Our Moroccan Regulars are fully available at our website right now, but some retailers have already started picking them up too.

1/72 Moroccan Regulars preview

I'm excited to show you the greens just sculpted by Xan of the next Spanish Civil War infantry set we're going to launch pretty soon, right behind our Nationalist Cavalry (which will be available in the next two weeks, by the way). Such new infantry set will be devoted to the native troops of the Spanish Protectorate in Morocco, commonly known as Moroccan Regulars.

The same way as already done with other infantries, this first set is to be composed by thirteen askaris or riflemen and two NCOs, and will be followed by a second one including officers, standard bearer and close support weapons.

This new set of figures will be delivered to foundry next week, just after having picked up the Nationalist cavalrymen I've told you about before --so a clear deadline can be set for these Regulars with little error chances, at about late March or first days of April (Admittedly a bit too tight a date for Salute 2015 --but we can't run faster!).

Moroccan Regulares preview

We've already started working on a new set of Spanish Civil War 20mm figures. It's now time for one of the Nationalist side's most feared shock troops: the native Moroccan troops known as Regulares. Here below you can watch some sketches of the first one of two forecast sets devoted to this colonial corps:

As usual, this first set will comprise 13 askari riflemen and 2 NCOs --mostly dressed in a between seasons uniform, with varying headgear. All 15 figures will show a different, unique posture.

Sculpting work of this new set started some days ago and is progressing at a fast pace, so it allows us to expect having them ready quite soon.
