Right after our just released Ship of The Line, our Age of Sail next model is going to be a Xebec - a swift, agressive looking lateen sailed ship widely used not only by pirates and corsairs, but also by all Mediterranean naval nations from 17th to 19th centuries. Here above you can watch a preview of its hull at its current designing stage. Hope you like it!

New 1/600 Ship of the Line
I'm happy to show you a third model belonging to our 1/600 scale Age of Sail ships - this time, an aggressive 3rd rate Ship of the Line, modelled after blueprints of a real warship dating back from early 1700s. Model kit's hull is made of high quality resin, while masts and sails are white metal cast - just 11 parts in total! Kit is completed by a Portuguese naval flags sheet.
It's been a long, hard production process plentiful of unexpected issues, certainly; but now it's finally here with us, and I'm so happy for it! We are still awaiting packaging boxes to be printed, but it's a matter of just a few days; so you can pre-order right now your ship of the line while awaiting boxes to come. Delivery is expected to start on June 1st.

WSS City of Barcelona "La Ciutat" IR flags
I'm proud to show you our latest digital product - the flags of one of the most renowned Catalan regiments at the service of Charles Habsburg during the War of Spanish Succession: City of Barcelona Infantry Regiment, also known as "La Ciutat", whose King's and Colonel's colours we've just released today at 1:100th, 1:72nd and 1:56th scales altogether.
The images attached to the present post depict what their 1:100th version looks like, when attached to appropriate standard bearers kindly supplied by Eureka Miniatures for this purpose, that I've painted by my own.
Our War of Spanish Succession flags ranges can be checked here: 1:100th version, 1:72nd version and 1:56th version

Re-opening and new releases
I'm going to re-open Minairons webshop tomorrow Thursday at noon, so as to let users eventually interested in placing an order to do so normally. Please have into account a couple of things, though: first of all, that not all products are at good enough stock levels, because of the general shutdown ordered by authorities by well-known reasons. Secondly, that mail services all around the world may be experiencing some difficulties, so that delivery times might widen a bit. Please accept in advance my apologies for all this - and do not lower your guard against Covid-19. Keep staying safe!
So as to celebrate our re-opening, I'm happy to share our latest releases: three new sets of 1:600th scale Naval Flags from both 17th and 18th centuries.
As you can see in the photo above, these three new sets are devoted to privateering and piracy: Dutch West Indies Company (1621-1660), Barbary Corsairs (1580-1780) and Bartholomew Roberts (1719-1722) (a renowned pirate also known as Black Bart). All three sets will be available for purchase right tomorrow!
