The Sadurni carrier and tractor look tempting but I was hoping for multiple fast assembly plastic vehicles rather than a single expensive resin model.
Bringing a model into plastic is a huge invest of several thousand Euros. In order to redeem such enormous expense, you must produce your model by the thousands too.
So allow me to answer you with a question in turn: --How many thousands of SCW vehicles can you expect to sell?
Believe me, bringing a Sadurní or Trubia Naval tanks, or a "Tiznao" improvised armour is plainly unaffordable, for you'll sell just a handful of them.
Unless you were in Mr. Bill Gates' trousers (and pockets!)... sadly, case isn't such.
OK, thanks for your answer, of course I know nothing of how the manufacture process works. I had seen that you have produced a set of 2 X T26 and 3 X Pz1 (1/72), 5 X T26 and Pz 1 (1/100) in plastic at great prices which I bought and hoped for more of the same.
Thanks and good luck!
Really liking the 1/72 pipeline through spring 2016. Expect an order for all of it from me then!
Something I would love to see is the planes done in 1/72 - sometimes parked on a field makes for a nice diorama.
Cheers
Some else thinking around at this thread: this thread
Dear Sir,
Why you don't made an plane in 1/56 scale ? and if you make it, why don't you choose an Hawker Hart/Hind/Demon ? A symbolic aircraft of the thirties who made use for SCW, VBCW, Winter war and any conflict of the thirties and the beginning of the second word war (Middle east, Africa, India, Baltic states, .....)
We were pondering for some time to make aircraft at scales bigger than 1/100, but in the end we desisted. They would have been too expensive for the average user, while sales expectations were very low --so no chance of redeeming the invest. Sorry.
Do please go ahead with the Lancia IZM armoured car! You'll be aware that no manufacturer produces this at the moment and they were widely used in WW2 in East Africa and elsewhere https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_1ZM
When do you think they will be available?
As you can see, we have it in our agenda - only that we haven't met a deadline for it yet. In any case, it's our will to launch it during 2016.
Lancia armored car is made by Reviresco.

Although, we can foresee that transatlantic transactions could become more difficult in a near future.
Will we ever see the 20mm Assault Guards made? They have been a long time coming and seen to get pushed back again and again which is very disappointing considring your now moving onto a completely different focus andwhat seems to be a higher priority from a much earlier age. Please don't let the people down who have spent a lot of money on your SCW range to date who are waiting for these figures.
So far a great range of well sculptured figures which you should be proud of, the range just needs closing off.
Kindest regards,
Marcus
Marcus, I understand and share your disappointment. I have been counting the days since the Assault Guards were approved for commission, three years ago now.
However, given the current issues suffered by Minairons' SCW sculptor, my only chance to push forward that range was to change sculptor. I was unwilling of doing so, either due to style reasons and a sense of honesty.
Perhaps this very recent thread in The Miniatures Page (TMP) can help you understand why: http://theminiaturespage.com/news/577845805/
Besides of owning his own Xan brand, the thread author is Minairons' SCW sculptor too.
Hi
Many thanks for the quick response, I now understand your predicament. I of course have no answers as to how should proceed, that is your choice in how you manage your business.
As previously stated I remain a little disappointed but accept that its not the end of the world and this certainly won't detere me from ordering items from your current range (as your figures are so easy to convert due to the alloy you use they are quite handy) which incidentally I will do once you sort out the packaging and release your Trubia tank.
Despite the busy schedule of your current SCW sculpterI hope that you can whoo him to do the Assault Guard greens.
Kindest regards,
Mqrcus
Thanks for the comments, I replied once but have had no reply, if you have received my previous rep, yplease disregard this one.
I can see where the issues are and understand your reluctance to change sculptures, lets hope Xan man is able to find a little time in his schedule to done sculpting for Minairons.
Kind regards
Marcus
Really excited about the Assault Guards!! I have been wishing for them for a while! Thank you Minairons!!!
Hi Lluis: Can you explain what each of the symbols mean on the Pipeline listings?
Yes I can, of course. The whole thing works like a semaphore, with five symbols indicating five different stages of creation. From bottom to top: Idea/Will 'to do it' (head with an exclamation mark inside), Technical design (crossed ruler and pencil), Tooling/mould making (crossed wrench and hammer), Production (factory) and eventual Box art (wrapped package).
As a complement, colours mean whether a particular stage has started (yellow), is on course (green) or is over (blue). Red on a symbol is a bad omen; something has forced me to halt the project.
It's more intuitive than accurate, of course. However, besides of keeping people informed, it's a useful tool for me too; as a quick reminder on how are things running as a whole.
Great! Thank you!
Wonderful news about the impending release of new 20mm Spanish Civil War figures! Any chance you will eventually be working on some infantry guns to use with the Moorish artillerymen (which look great, by the way!)?
There are two guns I'd like to release over this year - PaK-36 and Schneider 70/16. Both would be fast assembly and metal cast.
The 70/16 mountain/infantry gun is a welcome model! Especially in 15mm/1:100 scale where there is none on the market now. Thank you, Lluis.
Are you abandoning manufacture of 20mm Spanish Civil War infantry/cavalry/artillerymen figures? I see that all the prospective (and sorely needed) sets have been moved down to the "To Be Determined" bin. Hope this isn't the case.
Sadly, the sculptor behind Minairons SCW figures gave up continuing the range (I don't know the reasons behind, possibly health ones). I haven't been able to persuade him to keep sculpting, so that I've had to put aside the so far projected sets - until a new suitable sculptor is found.
For some time, I was hoping to hire for this purpose the sculptor behind my WSS figure range, despite he being unfamiliar with the period. A couple of trials seemed quite satisfactory (Moroccan gun and mortar crews), but Putin's War has messed with my plans. That sculptor is Russian, so I no more have means to pay him, nor is there a 100% secure shipment mode.
So...
"There is no joy in Mudville...."
(An obscure reference to a popular American poem, but I couldn't resist.)
I would support a Foreign Legion presale.
