1/72 Republican Weapons & Command

Our second 20mm SCW figures set finally entered foundry yesterday --a couple weeks later than expected, certainly, due to some personal issues experienced by our hired sculptor, Juan G. Bautista of Xan Miniatures. Here below you can watch some of their greens:
LMG crew
HMG crew
Mortar crew
The set also includes another different LMG crew, a third HMG crewman, a couple officers/commissars and a flag bearer (that is, 12 figures in total, besides of a Maxim MG model). A first batch of them is expected to be cast early in next week, so that its release is imminent at last.

Painted 1/72 Republican Infantry

A lot of miles ahead of what a common user (like myself) can do, but I couldn't resist the temptation of posting it here. It's our 20mm Republican Infantry set as painted by Rafa "Archiduque" (archiduquerpc.wordpress.com):

Sooner or later I'm going to post here those I'm currently painting myself too --nothing to do with this superb artwork, though!

15mm tank commanders by Peter Pig

Mr. Martin Goddard of Peter Pig has kindly let us arrive some samples of their newest products related to Spanish Civil War, within their Range #13. These are two tank commanders sets --one for the Republican side, the other for Nationalists-- that come in their usual 8 figures pack format, with 3 randomly mixed poses each.

Figures have been conceived not just as torsos, but as full bodies instead; thus allowing users to customize them at will, for their own purposes. For fitting a figuro onto one given tank, you just need to cut the figure at the size you require. These tank commanders do even include a stand, for if you need to display some out of the vehicle.

The new sets above can already be pre-ordered at Minairons Miniatures website. We'll have them in stock in a few days.

Good news for those fond of 1/72nd scale. After having launched the tank version of IGC SadurnĂ, we're now ready to release its artillery tractor version. 1/100 Fiat CR.32 WIP

We'll be able to release our second 1/100th scale SCW aircraft pretty soon. Let me show a few priliminary shots taken on a prototype painted by Bruce Murray of Offensive Miniatures:

It looks certainly promising, doesn't it? --thanks to Bruce for his superb work!

1/56 Henschel Truck released

28GEV015 box
Expectably good news for those wishing us to plunge more extensively into 1/56th, for our first 2014 release is that of one such scale model. This is Henschel Type 33 Truck, a WWII German beautiful workhorse also used by Spanish Nationalists during the 1936-1939 Civil War.
28GEV015 parts
Not exactly a fast assembly kit, because we've had to device for it a total of 21 different parts, in order to keep good detailing. As you can see by the picture above, 8 such parts are white metal cast --those smaller, or proner to an accident ones. Here below you can see what it looks like once assembled:
Henschel front view
Henschel rear view
As an undesired consequence of such above our standard complication, we haven't been able by any means to keep this nice model pricing below € 20.00, as we'd like to. Our Henschel Type 33 Truck can be purchased at € 24.95 at this particular page of Minairons website --or requested from the trader of your choice in this list, or distributed by them.

New Year, new range!

20GEE001
Pleased to show you the first item in a new range we're projecting: a small series of 1/72nd scale scenery pieces, intendedly suitable for either Spanish Civil War or Early WWII. Such first item is a small scene cast in a single piece, that shows an unfortunate Pz. Befehlswagen I ausf. A presumably abandoned or destroyed. We believe it can be given a number of uses, let's say a FoW-style target marker, or a tabletop scenery feature...

In the captions below you can see what it looks like once painted by an experienced artist as Daniel of Field Factory:

This Bailed Out Tank can already be found at this particular page of Minairons website. If it proves to be successful enough, no doubt we'll widen the new range with more creations.
