Tokens suitable for Chain of Command

Minairons Miniatures is going to carry some else of the innovative products from Caliga Accesorios, who are already our plastic stands supplier. I'm pleased to show you a first range among those --a wide collection of tokens and markers auitable for Chain of Command (CoC) rule set.

Each set comprises 11 plastic tokens (6 x 50mm round, 4 x 25mm round and 1 x 20mm square) and a stickers sheet with markings for making 6 Patrol Markers, 4 Jump Off Points tokens and 1 Morale marker (all them two-sided).

Stickers are self-adhesive and conveniently pre-cut, so you only need to peel these off and apply them on each side of the corresponding plastic token. For durability, it is advisable to paint token edges the colour of your choice before applying the stickers. Not compulsory, but some varnishing afterwards would be a good idea too.

Those sets currently listed on Minairons website are SCW Republican and Nationalist, Italian and Abyssinian, Soviet, Finnish, German, Polish, British, French, American and Japanese only. In spite of this, virtually ANY other set of WWII Nation markers can be done (if not already existing). Just ask!

(The token sets here shown are just a likely accessory to Chain of Command (CoC) wargames rule set, created and owned by Too Fat Lardies. Such rule set is needed for playing CoC, and can be purchased at their toofatlardies.co.uk website).

1/600 Privateer flags

We've just made available three new sets of 17th Century naval flags, devoted this time to renowned privateers such as Laurent de Graff, Henry Morgan and the Flemish corsairs in Spanish service collectively known as Dunkirkers.

Prior to publication, a thoroughful research work has been carried out so as to get ensured the flags offered were historically accurate --or the most likely ones at least, whenever insuffucient data were available. Results of such research are explained under "Did you know that...?" label on each flag sheet webpage.

Honestly, I'm proud of the work so far done with this range. Our Age of Sail flags collection, currently consisting of 18 sheets covering 7 maritime nations (and a ruthless pirate as well!), will be an outstanding complement to the 1/600 ships range we are about to launch. Such is just a matter of days, BTW.

Besides, such flags are an ideal match for other brands' ship models, such as those from Peter Pig's Range 18, as you can see below.

1/600 Early Galleon artwork

I'm excited to show you the brilliant painting job by Model J Ship naval workshop on a sample of our upcoming 1/600 Early Galleon.

Ultimate model kit will come in box, complemented by a flagsheet with a 17th Century Spanish ensign, flags and pennant --those very same the workshop has used to decorate this ship. However, eventually interested users will be able to give her the nationality of their will thanks to the wide collection of naval flags we've already published.

Once built, model ship is around 11cm long from bowsprit to stern, and some 13.5cm high. Here below you have another sample just primed and based, along with a sloop from Peter Pig for comparison.

We are now about to take box design to printshop, so there's a reasonable confidence we'll be able to release it around the end of month. Ultimate price is to be €15.95.
