10mm WSS Portuguese flags

Just as promised some time ago, we're making the War of Spanish Succession 1:144 flags range grow. Certainly not at the rate of its 1:100, 1:72 and 1:56 sister ranges - but following their path nonetheless. As it can be seen by the photo above, set contains both unemblazoned and emblazoned versions of the colours for three different portuguese regiments. Hope you like them!

New Age of Sail Polacre

I'm happy toannounce release of a further 1:600 scale Age of Sail ship model - now a polacre or polacca, a Mediterranean vessel born as a development of xebecs and primarily designed to outperform these. It was a pretty common ship between 17^th and 19^th centuries.

Model itself consists of a high quality resin hull as well as eight white metal parts for masts and sails. Kit also includes by default a set of 17^th to 18^th centuries Sicilian ensigns, flags and pennant.

This new model kit retails at €9.88 (+VAT where applying).

SCW Moroccan Cavalry Standards

I've just released another set of Spanish Civil War flags in 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales altogether. Today set is devoted to Moroccan Cavalry squadrons, for either Mehalla or Regulares colonial troops.

They're available on Minairons website at the usual price of €1.65 (+VAT where applying).

New 1:100 Chevrolet AAC

I'm happy to announce the release of a new 1:100^th scale AFV model for Spanish Civil War 15mm gaming --the Chevrolet armoured car, whose 1:72^nd version was also released shortly ago.

Model itself can't be easier to build, for it just consists of three main parts (hull, turret and hull MG), thanks to it having been DLP 3D-printed. It's on sale as either a 2-vehicle boxed set, or as a single vehicle pack.

Photo above corresponds to its 1:72^nd scale version side by side with a Soviet BA-6 (this one, from Pegasus), showing their overall close similarity.

This particular AFV can be used both for SCW and WWII (in French and German service).

WSS Austrophile grenadiers preview

These are the greens of our upcoming War of Spanish Succession 1:72^nd scale figure set. As you can see, it is going to consist of four grenadier figures in marching poses. This below is what they look like alongside to a musketeer figure.

New set is due to be released right this Spring - or even late Winter, depending on latest hour schedule adjustments.

WSS Lisbon I.R. flags and guide

I'm happy to announce release of yet another set of War of Spanish Succession infantry flags at 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales altogether. Today, it's the flags for a Two Crowns' Spanish unit: Lisbon I.R., another of the senior regiment in the Spanish Army of that time. Along with the flags, I've also released a PDF guide on the subject for free download, as usual.

After this release, our War of Spanish Succession flag ranges comprise 8 Two Crowns' Spanish regiments, 7 Austrophile Spanish regiments, another 7 late war Catalan regiments and 3 Portuguese flag designs - in all three scales , as said.

WSS Richardi I.R. flags and guide

It's already available a new set of War of Spanish Succession infantry flags at either 1:100^th, 1:72^nd and 1:56^th scales: now it's been the turn for an Austrophile Spanish regiment: Town of Alicante I.R., more widely known as Richardi on behalf of its colonel, John Richards.

Along with the flag sheets themselves, I've also released a PDF painting guide devoted to that very same Infantry Regiment. All my PDF guides can be freely downloaded from Minairons website.

Upcoming polacre ship painting video

I'm happy to share this YouTube video below, recorded by a gaming mate, which shows the painting process of our upcoming 1:600^th scale polacre - a three masted ship quite common in XVII-XVIII centuries Mediterranean waters, that was en evolution from xebecs. I hope you like it as much as I do!
